Corporate Labor Attorney – Advisory and Litigation
Responsible for managing and defining the strategy for the firm’s client portfolio, with integrated work in both labor litigation and advisory matters.
Handling cases at the evidentiary, appellate, and enforcement stages, focusing on efficient legal solutions aligned with clients’ business objectives.
Preventive and strategic work aimed at mitigating labor liabilities, including drafting legal opinions, providing compliance guidance, and conducting union negotiations and judicial settlements.
Practice before the Regional Labor Courts of the 2nd, 4th, 9th, 10th, 12th, and 14th Regions, including oral arguments and management of deadlines and support teams.
Experience in administrative proceedings before the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) and the Labor Prosecutor’s Office (MPT), including monitoring inspections, preparing defenses, and negotiating and executing Conduct Adjustment Agreements (TACs).
Direct interaction with Human Resources departments and executive management of client companies, as well as preparation of management reports and strategic legal opinions, including risk analysis and accounting provisions to support executive decision-making.
Independent Attorney
Provision of independent legal services to specialized law firms representing companies (defendants) in labor claims, with a technical and strategic focus.
Responsible for drafting complex procedural documents, including statements of defense, ordinary appeals, appeals to the Superior Labor Court, and other procedural filings.
Representation in labor hearings (initial, single, and evidentiary hearings), conducting technical defenses, examination of parties and witnesses, and negotiating judicial settlements when applicable.
Occasional advisory support to contracting firms, providing legal analyses and opinions aimed at preventing labor liabilities.
Work focused on efficiency and compliance with deadlines, with a high capacity to adapt to the internal standards and technical language of each partner firm.
Attorney
Responsible for drafting initial pleadings in labor lawsuits, with detailed factual analysis and strategic application of applicable legislation.
Preparation of defenses and procedural submissions, with a technical focus on developing legal arguments aligned with the client’s interests.
Careful analysis of judicial decisions to prepare opinions on the feasibility of filing appeals, especially Ordinary Appeals and Appeals to the Superior Labor Court.
Active participation in labor court hearings, conducting oral arguments, evidentiary proceedings, and negotiations for amicable settlement.
Practical experience in monitoring cases through the various procedural stages, with strong command of labor procedure rules and deadlines.
